excellant base for exploring kanadukattan. liked the calm atmosphere of the whole place. they where very nice when we arrived. room was big and pleasant to come back to. besides, it offers free wifi.

The location of Saratha Vilas Chettinad in Kanadukattan is marvelous, with proximity to both the garden and a museum. the breakfast offered a wide variety of choices, and the food was fantastic.

Breakfast was delicious and savoury, I truly enjoyed almost everything.

Thanks to a very good service I had a good stay. Had facilities needed in my double room, including an electric kettle, air conditioning, and an individual safe. All of the staff were very very helpful and excellent. Location: the hotel was so close to gardens, the markets, temples, antique stores, other mansions, and " chettinad.

The location is fantastic, right near the palace, sightseeing spots, and a shrine, all easy to reach; the room I stayed in was well-kept and had a stunning carved 4 poster bed.

The well-kept room with nice design and amenities like shower, hair dryer, and bath sheets was cool, and the friendly staff added to the positive experience.

The location was awesome - so convenient for getting around. Just a short stroll to all the places we wanted to visit. 🚶‍♂️ the breakfast was top-notch with a variety of international choices and everything you could ask for.

This venue is perfectly located in the nearby villages and staff are exceptionally friendly and helpful.

The double room was huge and modern. I had an extremely comfy bed, an electric kettle, and a refrigerator. the location was convenient, overlooking the peaceful courtyard and garden. There was Wi-Fi in all rooms, and the service was VERY GOOD.

This place is something special, really top-notch. the staff here are super friendly and genuinely look after you. Plus, they serve up a variety of delicious breakfast options that'll satisfy any appetite. 🌟.

I stayed at this beautifully renovated Chettinad mansion for a few nights and it was a fantastic experience. The attention to detail in the interiors was superb, and the French hosts were charming and helpful. The staff was excellent and created a pleasant atmosphere throughout my stay. One night, we even had a French-style dinner where hosts and guests sat together, creating a warm and engaging atmosphere. The meals were very good, and the addition of a swimming pool outside will definitely add to the experience. The entrance garden, covered terrace, and marbled hall were all stunning, and the bedrooms with their beautifully carved entrance ways were a delight. The dining room and the small shop selling local products added to the overall charm of the place. The wifi worked well, and my room was spacious, clean, and comfortable with good lighting, hot water. everything was fantastic, and I would highly recommend this place.

Beautifully restored hotel with attention to every detail, creating a slice of paradise. The pool and garden were idyllic, and the food was delicious. The Tamil people and vibrant town of Karaikudi added to the charming experience. The staff, especially Sam, were incredibly helpful. The ambiance of the hotel, with its carefully chosen antiques and designer fittings, was fantastic. The owners went above and beyond to accommodate us. Can recommend this hotel for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
